About Us
What is different about the Basic Funerals experience? (clip from AM 640)
"After working in the funeral industry for over a decade we started this company with a vision of offering something different. Funeral homes often struggle to offer the basic services at an affordable price because they are burdened with the large overhead costs of running a funeral home. Because we don’t have these large costs, we are able to offer you low prices while focusing on the personal care you need.
The world is changing and because of this, many things have become more cost effective through technology. Why shouldn’t the funeral industry change too? Most of our clients are looking for a simple service for their loved ones in the form of a simple cremation or burial, however we do offer full traditional funeral services with a level of professionalism and caring that is second to none in the industry and the families we serve have found that our pricing for these services are very economical.
In line with providing the best services possible for all of the families we serve, we have gone to great lengths to make the arrangement process as easy for you as possible. Through our online and phone arrangements you will never be required to leave your home during this process. We are more than happy to have a funeral director meet with you in person, but only if that is what is comfortable for you. We don't believe in forcing families to come to our location during such a difficult time.
Our funeral establishment name is Basic Funerals and Cremation Choices and our goal is truly all about giving families choices. Our licensed funeral establishment is located in Mississauga, Ontario. Though we offer affordable funeral and cremation options to families throughout most cities in the province of Ontario, we are a small and caring company with staff to serve you in person in Burlington.
We believe it is not enough for us to say that we want to help people in their time of need. It is our mission to do so by providing the community with a dignified choice that is fair and economical."
